This paper aim to shed light on the model or models of innovation which best explain the changes being ushered in by the revolution in nanotechnology, to consider how different models of innovation may explain how the topography of the knowledge-based economy is being shaped by radically new approaches to science, to focus on the concept of nanotechnology based innovation, and to discover the education opportunities related to the community implications of nanotechnology based on educational approaches which sharing a belief that students need to develop analytical and innovative tools and concepts for thinking about nanotechnology and other emerging technologies especially their community implications.
